When the unit is armed, the motion detector monitors the protected area for motion.  If motion is detected, a 105dB alarm will sound and the auto dialer will go into action.  The auto dialer will dial up to 5 preset numbers that you have selected.  While most jurisdictions do not allow you to set an autodialer to call the police directly, you can have the unit call you, a neighbor or a security firm, who in turn can notify the police.

The autodialer, when used in chime mode, can also be used a door alert in your business - it will chime when someone enters the door.  Use it as a door alert during the day and an alarm system at night.  The autodialer is easy to setup.  Install a 9-volt battery, connect the AC adapter, connect the unit to the telephone line with the included phone cord, then program in up to 5 numbers for the unit to call if an intruder is detected.  For optimum results, the unit should be mounted in the desired location 5-6 feet above the floor.

The unit’s large 14 digit number display is easy to see and shows the date and time.  This security alarm system has a programmable security code and you can define the entry delay time before the code must be entered.  It can be programmed with up to 5 telephone numbers, each up to 14 digits.  There is a panic button that will set off the audible alarm and the autodialer when pressed.  The security alarm has a low battery indicator which displays on the LCD.  The battery is used to back up all of the programmed information in case of a power outage.  This security alarm can be used with tone dialing telephone systems only - it will not work with rotary dialing.  The built-in 105dB alarm can be disabled if you want to use the unit as a stealth alarm to catch the thieves in the act.  The sensor head on the security alarm system can be adjusted for optimum coverage and motion sensing.  The unit features a test mode function, which allows you to walk thru an area and test for motion sensing.
