Pepper spray pager - A 1/2 ounce pepper spary disguised as a pager

Pepper Spray Pager

The Pepper Pager is a 1/2 oz. container of 10% OC pepper spray diguised as an everyday pager.  While not that many people are carrying pagers these days, the unit is still quite small and discrete.  The unit features 2 million Scoville heat units, which is enough to cause pain, swell the mucous membranes and cause the eyes to slam shut.

The pepper spray pager features two 1/2 oz. cannisters which both fire at the same time, delivering twice the amount of spray as other 1/2 oz. units.  The unit has an effective range of 8-12 feet, meaning you can stop your attacker before they get their hands on you.  In addition, it contains enough pepper spray for 10-12 one-second bursts of pepper spray.   For more information on the pepper spray pager.

Pepper spray batons are ideal for the pocket, purse or keyring

Pepper spray batons

Pepper spray batons are small, baton shaped containers of pepper spray designed to be carried easily in a pocket, a purse, or on a key ring.  They contain about 4g of 10% OC pepper spray.  When sprayed in an attacker’s face, this pepper spray will keep your attacker busy while you make your escape.  OC pepper spray causes intense burning to the eyes, and causes them to slam shut.  In addition, it causes the mucous membranes to swell, interfering with your attacker’s breathing and causing choking and an intense burning in the nose.

Pepper spray batons use convenient refill cartridges so you don’t have to replace the whole unit when it runs out of spray.  The refills are only about one-fifth the cost of replacing the batons.  A four gram unit contains enough pepper spray for 3 one-second bursts or shots.  These units can spray up to 5 feet away, so you can stop your attacker before they get their hands on you.  For more information on pepper spray batons.

Pepper spray - An essential tool for self-defense

Pepper Spray

Pepper spray is a very effective self-defense weapon.  Pepper spray usually contains 10% OC pepper spray, which is an extreme irritant to the eyes and mucous membranes.  A shot of pepper spray will cause the eyes to slam shut with intense burning, and cause the mucous membrames to swell, making it difficult for your attacker to breathe.  The effects will last 150-20 minutes, giving you plenty of time to run away and call for help.

Pepper spray comes in a variety of convenient size containers.  It comes in  containers small enough for a pocket or purse, larger containers for home use, disguised as a pager or a pen, and there is even one model disguised as a tube of lipstick.  Effective distance varies with the size of the container, but usually is in the range of 5 to 10 feet.  This means that you can spray your attacker before they actually get their hands on you.  The number of shots, usually one-seconds bursts, also varies from 5-20 shots with the size of the container.  For more information about pepper spray.

Mace spray can buy you a little time if you’re attacked

Mace Spray

Mace spray can be used to buy yourself enough time to run away and start screaming for help if you’re attacked.  You can spray it in an attacker’s face before they get their hands on you (from up to 5 feet away) and it will keep your attacker occupied for a few minutes.   Mace spray has the effects of causing the eyes to slam shut with an intense burning feeling and interfering with your attacker’s ability to breathe, causing choking.  Mace spray is available in a wide variety of sizes and shapes, so there’s no reason not to have one handy no matter where you are.

You can get mace spray in the more traditional canister type container, in a baton-style shape, in a small size designed to fit on a keychain and in a gun-shaped container.  You can even get mace spray concealed in a pair of walking weights for that late-night or early morning walk or jog.  Owning and using mace spray is perfectly legal without restrictions in most states.   Why not buy some for the glove compartments of your car, your keyring, your pocket or purse, and some to keep at home?  For more information about mace spray.

Mace Pepper Spray is indespensable for personal security

Mace Pepper Spray

Mace pepper spray can provide you with a way to protect yourself from potential attackers.  A shot of mace pepper spray in an attacker’s face will temporarily incapacitate them, giving you a chance to start running away and yelling for help.  Mace pepper spray causes the eyes to slam shut, with intense burning and itching, and interferes with the respiratory system, making it difficult to breathe.  It is not likely your attacker will come after you, as they will be dealing with the effects of the mace.   Mace pepper spray is available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, so why not get some for your purse, your pocket, your car, your keychain and your home?

Mace pepper spray comes in small containers that fit conveniently in your pocket or purse, and even smaller ones that are designed to go on a keychain.  You can even get mace that is stored in a pair of walking weights for your early morning or late night walking or jogging sessions.  Most mace products can be sprayed from a distance of 5 feet or more, so you can stop your attacker before they get their hands on you.  Look for 10% OC pepper spray as the main ingredient in the mace that you buy.

Mace can protect you from an attacker

Mace

Mace is a brand of self-defense product that uses pepper spray to stop an attacker.   When sprayed in an attacker’s face, mace pepper sprays will cause intense burning of the eyes, causing them to slam shut, and uncontrollable coughing and choking.  The attacker will have difficulty breathing, and if they rub their eyes this only worsens the effect.  The idea behind mace is to temporarily disorient and disable your attacker so that you have time to run away, not to incapacitate them.  Mace is available in small easy to carry containers, some smalll enough to be carried on a keychain.

Mace uses a pepper spray that contains 10% OC (Oleoresin Capsicum) pepper.  This substance is an extreme irritant to the eyes and respiratory system.  One good thing about mace is that the effects are not permanent or lethal.  Mace is a good enough deterrent that many policemen carry it.  Mace is perfectly legal to own and use in most states (check local laws, some areas have restrictions on the types of mace that can be used).  Buy several different containers of mace and keep one in your home, your car, your purse and your pocket.  For more information about mace.

The Kubotan is a highly effective self-defense weapon

Kubotan

You may have never heard of a Kubotan.  Popular with martial artists, these small, highly effective weapons are easy to carry and conceal.  Shaped similar to a pencil, but made of metal, they can be used to strike an assailant in a number of vulnerable places.  Good targets inlcude the groin, stomach, solar plexis, throat, the arm, the shin, hip bone, collarbone, ankle, and kneecap.  A good strike with a kubotan to one of these places will make an attacker stop and think - a harder strike can actually break bones!

Kubotans are about 5 inches long and made of aluminum.  They are available with blunt or pointed ends.  They are also available in a variety of  colors.  Even if you don’t hit an attacker in one of the places mentioned above, if you just start jabbing chances are your attacker will find someone else to attack.  So why not buy a few today and keep them in handy places - hopefully you won’t need them but you’ll be glad you bought them if you do.  For more information on the kubotan.

Don’t Get Hurt While Defending Yourself

Don’t Get Hurt While Defending Yourself

A stun gun is a self-defense device that utilizes high voltage and low amperage electricity to disable an attacker for several minutes.  It is non-lethal but really gives a kick that will bring your attacker down.  The current will not pass through your body even when the attacker is touching you.  This is a great device to have especially if you live in places where your safety can be compromised.

The Stun Master is one of the most trusted and reliable names in the industry.  It has been in the business for over 10 years and continues to make great products.  There are different models that give 100,000 volts up 775,000 volts.  You just have to find the one that will really fit your needs.  But always check with state laws regarding the use of stun guns.

Use a door stop alarm when you travel

Door Stop Alarm

A door stop alarm can be used to provide extra secuity in your hotel or motel room when you travel.   These ingenious little devices fit underneath the door (they look just like a regular doorstop) from the inside, and if anyonne tries to open the door they sound a loud, 125db alarm.  You can sleep safely and peacefully knowing you’ll be warned if someone tries to break into your room.  While they can’t be used while you’re away from your room, a door stop alarm can provide a lot of peace of mind when you’re there.

The door stop alarm conains a sensor that senses the pressure when someone tries to open the door, thus setting off the alarm.  It also acts as a doorjam, they won’t be able to open the door easily.  Lighweight and easy to pack into a suitcase, they use a common 9-volt battery for power.  So if you travel a lot, why not purchase a little peace of mind for your next trip?

The Ultimate Stealth Self-Defense Weapon - A Cell Phone Stun Gun

Cell Phone Stun Gun

If you want to carry a stun gun, but don’t want to advertise the fact, get a cell phone stun gun.  These little gems look like fully-fucntional cell phones (even camera phones), but are actually powerful stun guns.  Your attacker wil never know what hit them.  The units can put out as much as 800,000 volts,  and some have other functions built into them, such as an LED flashlight, a personal alarm and an anti-theft wrist strap.

You can sound the alarm to warn your attacker away, meanwhile telling them you’ve got a stun gun in your hand.  Or shine the LED flashlight in their eyes so you can stun them.  The anti-theft wrist strap sounds the alarm if the cell phone stun gun is grabbed by your attacker, and the stun gun is disabled so he can’t use it against you.  Why not gain a little piece of mind and look at one of these today.  More information on the cell phone stun gun.
