Tasers are now available to the average person
Not too long ago, you had to be law enforcement or military to purchase a taser. But that’s all changed now, since Taser International started making consumer models. One of the latest is the Taser C2, with a very modern design and most of the same features as military and law enforcement models. The C2 can deliver a 50,000 volt charge over a distance of 15 feet using it’s reloadable cartridge technology.
The cartridge contains the projectile which delivers the charge, the small, thin wire over which the charge travels, and the propellant that fires the projectile at your attacker. A hit with a Taser will immediately drop the subject in their tracks, and continue to deliver a charge for 30 seconds after it has been fired.
