I wanted to take some time to discuss owning a Stun Gun in general. There seems to be a lot of confusion in regards to which stun gun should I purchase. Almost everyone gravitates to the cheaper lower end models. Then they hope and pray it will work when they need it.
There are a lot of imports and knock offs that are made very poorly. Its important to step back and take a deep breath before you purchase something that is designed to save your life or the life of a loved one. And during an attack is not the time to discover that you purchased a cheap chinese knock off!
Stay with the major brands such as Taser (sometimes mispelled as Tazer) or Stun Master for the more affordable and smaller units. Both manufacturers have been making these for decades. They are dependable, durable quality, and stand behind there products with a very good warrenty. That says this stun gun will be there when you need it.
Be sure to use a high quality alkaline battery in both and change it out once a year on Halloween. (Halloween is national change your battery day according to the Fire Fighters of America…they want you to change batteries in your smoke detectors).
