The Stun Master 300,000 and 500,000 Volt Stun Batons

The Stun Master 300,000 volt stun baton
Let’s take a look today at a favorite of security guards and policemen, the Stun Master stun batons.  These devices allow a little distance between you and your attacker, and pack a powerful punch as well.  Stun Master makes two models, a 16″ long 300,000 volt model and a 20″ long 500,000 volt model.  Both models will stun when touched 6 inches from the tip, preventing an assailant from grabbing it and taking it away.

Both models feature a wrist strap and rubber handle.  They both operate on two 9V batteries for maximum stunning power.  And both are available with an optional nylon holster with metal belt loop.  Either of these stun batons make an excellent choice for security or police work or for the late-night walker or jogger.

Stun batons use a very high voltage at a low amperage to disable an attacker.  Results vary depending on the amount of time that a person is stunned - A half second jolt from a stun baton will cause a painful jolt to your attacker, and startle and repel them.  One to two seconds will begin to cause disorientation and muscle spasms.  Over three seconds will cause loss of muscle control, mental confusion, disorientation and loss of balance.  The actual amount of time required to disable an attacker will vary depending on the individual and other factors, including the type of clothing they are wearing.

Stun guns don’t depend on pain to function.  Instead they rely on the fact that the body’s nervous system is controlled by small electrical charges called nerve impulses.  The high voltage charge from the stun gun begins to interfere with these nerve impulses, causing muscle spasms.  These muscle spasms cause the individual to do a great deal of work in a short amount of time, thus tiring them quickly to the point of disabling them.  The rule of thumb for how long to stun someone with a stun baton is to keep it in contact with them until they are disabled to the point where your can make your escape and call for help.

One of the advantages of stun batons and stun guns is that they don’t come with the legal hassles associated with owning a taser.  And many police and military personnel still choose to carry a stun baton even though they may be permitted a taser.  These two models are among their favorites because of the distance they allow away from the subject.

300,000 or 500,000 volts seems like enough of an electrical charge to kill a person.  After all, house current is only 110 volts and it can kill you.  The difference is in the amperage - a stun baton delivers a very small amperage, which makes sure there is no permanent damage from stunning someone.  You don’t have to worry about the possible legal problems resulting from using a lethal weapon to defend yourself.  This is why stun guns are perfectly legal in most states and don’t require a license to use or carry.

And there’s no need to worry about what happens if your attacker touches you while they are being stunned - the electricity will not pass from their body to yours.  And stories about people dying from stun gun use are simply not true - cause of death was something else in every case.

These two stun batons are highly recommended.  They are safe, effective and, unlike a regular stun gun,  allow you to maintain a little distance between you and your attacker until they are disabled.  You can find more details about these two models, pricing and information on where to purchase at the following link:  The Stun Master 300,000 and 500,000 Volt Stun Batons
